When processing your personal data, we observe all data protection regulations, in particular all provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and all other applicable regulations. In this statement we set out which of your personal data will be processed by us, disclose the purposes for which personal data is processed and the legal basis upon which your personal data is processed and how you can exercise your rights under the GDPR, where applicable.

2.) PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS OF THE PROCESSING

When you visit this website, certain data is automatically transmitted to us by your browser and stored in so-called server log files. This is the following data: Type and version of the browser used, operating system used, date and time of accessing the website and IP address. The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) in the functionality of our website.

We will only process your e-mail address if you provide it yourself in order to receive a link to your test result. The legal basis for processing this data is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) which you give by entering your email address.

For clarification, it is stated that no personal data is processed or stored in connection with the completion of the Study Choice Test.

3.) TRANSFER OF DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

We do not transfer your personal data to third parties.

4.) DURATION OF THE PROPOSED PROCESSING OPERATION

The log files of the current session are stored for 14 days.  In case you provide your email address for the transmission of the link, your e-mail will not be stored after the transmission of the link has been completed.

5.) YOUR RIGHTS IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR PERSONAL DATA

You have the right to information on your personal data processed by us (Article 15 GDPR). If we process inaccurate or incomplete personal data, you have the right to rectification or completion of such data (Article 16 GDPR). You may also request us to delete personal data, which have been processed unlawfully. Please note that you may exercise this right only in respect of inaccurate, incomplete or unlawfully processed personal data or other cases in which the legal requirements for exercising this right are met (Article 17 GDPR). You have also the right to obtain from the controller restriction of processing of personal data concerning you (Article 18 GDPR). You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those personal data to another controller without hindrance from the controller to which the personal data have been provided (Article 20 GDPR).

In particular, you have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you which is based on our legitimate interests. If our legitimate interests do not prevail or the processing serves the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims, we will no longer process your personal data (Article 21 GDPR).

Regarding your consent you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal (Article 7 GDPR).

6.) PROVISION OF PERSONAL DATA

The provision of your browser data is necessary for the website to function. Without providing this data, the use of this website is not possible. Providing your email address is optional. Without providing an email address, the test result cannot be sent to you as a link.

7.) AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING / PROFILING

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
