General Terms of Use

  1. PREAMBLE
    1. Plus Media GmbH, FN 252367 d, Schlösselgasse 28/2, 1080 Vienna, (hereinafter "STUDYAMO") specializes in the development, establishment and operation of educational portals. STUDYAMO's declared goal is to support education-interested individuals (the “USERS“) in their choice of education or studies. For this purpose, STUDYAMO provides extensive information about different educational sectors, educational offerings, relevant educational institutions and educational institutions, as well as a specially developed Study Choice Test on STUDYAMO's WEBSITE (www.studyamo.com) free of charge for USERS (the “WEBSITE“).
    2. By using the WEBSITE or the TEST (as defined below), the USER agrees to these General Terms of Use (the "GTU"). If the USER does not agree to these terms, further use of the WEBSITE and the TEST must be discontinued immediately.
       
  2. EDUCATIVE INFORMATION
    1. The WEBSITE (www.studyamo.com) is managed by STUDYAMO and contains comprehensive information and advertisements for education-interested individuals regarding various educational sectors, educational offerings, relevant educational institutions and providers worldwide.
    2. The WEBSITE contains information about career fields and educational opportunities worldwide. The USER can obtain free information about the educational offerings contained on the WEBSITE and can contact EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS if the institution has made contact information available.
       
  3. AFFILIATION TEST
    1. In addition to general, as well as a specially developed Study Choice Test (the “TEST”).
    2. The "TEST" is a scientifically developped aptitude test that provides recommendations for most suitable educational sectors for the USER based on the parameters provided by the USER, such as their interests, inclinations, or abilities. As part of the TEST, the USER answers selected questions.
    3. After completing the TEST, the USER will be presented with a selection of educational programs (the "TEST RESULT"), which has been determined based on the USER's information and the provided parameters. The USER can retrieve the TEST RESULT for 6 months via a link that is sent to the USER after providing an e-mail address.
    4. Although the TEST was developed based on scientific principles and generally provides accurate results, it cannot be entirely excluded that some test results may not align with the USER's input, due to the varying personalities and inclinations of the USERS. The TEST RESULT merely provides guidance for the USER and explicitly does not constitute a recommendation for the USER's future educational path. The USER acknowledges that the TEST may provide TEST RESULTS not entirely suitable for the USER, as it is not possible, given the current state of technology and due to the individual input and personalities of the USER, to determine completely accurate TEST RESULTS.
       
  4. GENERAL
    1. The use of the WEBSITE and the TEST is free of charge for the USER. Both the use of the WEBSITE and the TEST constitute a free service from STUDYAMO. The USER has no legal entitlement to use the WEBSITE or the TEST.
    2. STUDYAMO reserves the right to temporarily restrict or permanently discontinue the WEBSITE or the TEST for technical, security-related, or other operational reasons. In such cases, the USER shall not be entitled to any compensation claims.
    3. While the contents of the WEBSITE are carefully reviewed, they do not claim to be complete. The USER acknowledges that due to the diversity of educational offerings worldwide, it is not possible for STUDYAMO to represent all available educational offerings on the WEBSITE and consider them in the TEST. All texts presented on the website were written by STUDYAMO in German and translated into other languages using automated translation tools and with the help of AI.
    4. STUDYAMO provides no warranty for the error-free operation of the WEBSITE and the TEST or their uninterrupted availability. Furthermore, STUDYAMO provides no warranty for the accuracy of test results or the completeness of educational offerings considered on the WEBSITE or in the TEST.
    5. Contractual and tortious liability for damages, including lost profits, data loss, business interruptions, or other consequential damages arising from the use or potential malfunction of the WEBSITE or the TEST, or caused by any of other reasons, is excluded to the extent permitted by law. This applies in cases of slight and (simple) gross negligence. Liability for personal injury and damages caused intentionally remains unaffected.
    6. All content, materials, and information related to the WEBSITE and the TEST (including test results, questions, and the design of the WEBSITE and TEST) are protected by copyright. Reproduction, distribution, or other use is prohibited without prior written consent from STUDYAMO.
    7. The USER should refer to the Privacy Policy on www.studyamo.com for issues of data protection.
    8. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Austrian law with the exclusion of its conflicts of laws provisions. The place of performance is the registered office of STUDYAMO.
