Fields of activity | Pilot

As a pilot, you’ll be at the controls of an aircraft, ensuring the safety of passengers and cargo. Before each flight, you’ll review the flight plan, assess the route and weather conditions, and inspect the aircraft’s airworthiness. During the flight, you’ll continuously monitor technical systems and flight conditions.

Beyond flying, your role as a pilot also involves coordinating the entire on-board process with the crew while maintaining constant communication with airport ground staff. Additionally, you’ll keep passengers informed about the flight schedule and weather conditions.

As a pilot, you’ll quite literally hold one of the highest positions, as your workplace will be the cockpit of an aircraft. You may work for commercial airlines, transporting passengers to various destinations, or for air freight companies, primarily handling cargo transport. Additionally, career opportunities exist in the military and flight schools, where you can apply your expertise in specialized aviation roles or pilot training.
