Fields of activity | Geologist

As a geologist, you’ll research Earth’s composition and structure and create maps of geological formations. Your tasks may include supporting the extraction of natural resources, for example, by assessing deposits of oil, coal, or natural gas. To achieve this, you’ll conduct investigations and examine rocks, minerals, and soils.

Since, as a geologist, you are an expert in the composition of the Earth's layers, you can develop measures to protect against natural disasters. Your expertise is also required in road and tunnel construction projects, where you will provide geological assessments and expert reports.
