Fields of activity | Dramaturge
As a dramaturge, you’ll be responsible for the text of a theater, film, television, or radio play production. You’ll liaise with authors, research the background of the scripts, and support the director in developing a production concept. During rehearsals or recordings, you’ll help realize the content and mediate between the participants when necessary.
If you’re interested in working as a dramaturge at a theater or opera house, you may also be involved in selecting the repertoire. In many cases, you’ll be responsible for writing accompanying materials or press releases, as well as hosting audience discussions and introductory talks.
