As a dancer, you’ll express moods, events, or situations through movement and perform in musicals, concerts, or operettas, for example. You can work either as a soloist or as part of a dance ensemble and specialize in specific styles such as ballet, expressive dance, or classical dance.
Your work as a dancer will involve learning and rehearsing choreographies, participating in rehearsals, and performing on stage, in television shows or in music videos. You’ll often train daily to refine your technique, maintain physical fitness, and enhance your facial expressions and gestures.
