This includes coordinating the delivery of building materials and machinery and ensuring that suppliers and construction teams are scheduled correctly. Budget management will be a key aspect of your role as a construction manager. You’ll calculate construction costs and ensure they remain within budget. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring quality on the construction site and identifying defects immediately to avoid delays and repairs.
