Fields of activity | Social Worker

As a social worker, you’ll advise, accompany, and support people in difficult life situations. Your clients may include individuals or groups, people of all ages and from various backgrounds, such as children, senior citizens, refugees, people with disabilities, addicts, homeless people, or offenders.

Depending on the client, the areas of responsibility as a social worker can vary greatly. You may recommend appropriate forms of assistance, support clients in their everyday lives, help them to live independently, or identify and prevent social ills. You’ll also be involved in administrative tasks or liaising with public authorities and institutions.
