As a geophysicist, you’ll study and analyze the Earth's internal structure, including seismic waves, gravity, and magnetic fields. You’ll also investigate the relationships between the Earth's physical properties and geological phenomena, such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and mineral resources.

Conducting laboratory tests and creating simulations will be essential parts of your daily work. You’ll contribute to forecasting earthquakes and volcanic eruptions and developing early warning systems. Additionally, you can apply your skills to exploring raw material deposits and conducting subsoil investigations. Your expertise may also extend to examining planets and other celestial bodies in space.
