Special Education vs. Human Services

Human services is a field of study that focuses on improving the quality of life of disadvantaged or vulnerable individuals and communities, such as children, the ill, or minorities. Students acquire interdisciplinary content from fields such as social work, psychology, and education to develop solutions to social problems. After graduation, there are a variety of career opportunities in healthcare, education, or at non-profit organizations.
